Kristen Lethem is a Sydney‑based contemporary landscape artist whose refined paintings explore the subtle interplay of topography, vegetation, shadow, and light. Through her distinctive approach, Kristen translates nature’s underlying rhythms into a visual language of form and pattern.
Her work is grounded in the landscapes of the Hunter region and other rural vistas, where she draws from elevated perspectives and local routes, creeks, and properties for their inherent structure and visual narrative. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication and Design from the Sydney College of the Arts at the University of Sydney and a Master of Fine Arts (Painting) from the University of New South Wales Art & Design. She has been a recurring finalist and award‑winner in significant Australian art prizes — including the Paddington, Muswellbrook, Hunters Hill, Mosman, Waverley, and Norvill art prizes — underscoring her ongoing contribution to the arts community.
